"When you serve others, you are serving God"

On Friday January 8th, I was privilege to be invited to be a guest speaker for the Rotary Club of Madison West Towne- Middleton, Wisconsin.

My presentation was pertaining to my latest publication, of my book titled, “The Garden of Life is the Garden of the World”. At first I had a notion that I was to speak about my book be the center of attention, and that there was nothing more significant than to focus on my book. They definitely offer me more than I offered them.

To my amazement I was profoundly impressed with my prestigious audience, an active group of man and woman that share their gifts and talents in a personal and effective way for the enhancement of the world.

Giving of themselves they make a difference by what they accomplish in union with one another transforming the world wherever needed, in such a significant way. What overwhelmed me was their dedication and selfless acts that these prominent people perform. They have captured my attention in such a memorable manner by bringing hope to me as they bring to those they ministered too throughout the world.

Their hard work materializes with devotion throughout the United States extending too far away countries such as Taiwan, Guatemala, China, Russia and many other parts of the world. They unite the world as one in a rotating motion thus bringing equality and quality of life, while spreading goodwill to all they come in contact with.

They actually do in practice what I advocate in my writings in “The Garden of Life is the Garden of the World”, from establishing, funding, operating an orphanage, to educating, sponsoring and encouraging young people that they are part of the world while preparing them for they will be the future of this world.

Later I read that the motto of this organization is “service above all”.

“When you serve others, you are serving God”

The first Rotary was founded over one-hundred years ago open to all who are of good personal character, good reputation. They must be fair and truth filled, build good-will, while beneficial to all concerned.

The four responsibilities of a Rotarian are as follow:

1. Service projects that help serve the local community
2. Service projects that serve the global community
3. Support the rotary foundation financially
4. Member participation

Society changes so do the service projects of the Rotary Foundation. Their accomplishments are numerous, needless to say to reveal all of them we must write more than a few books. There is a great deal more that can be said about this foundation but no one said it better than, Robert Francis Kennedy, brother of the President of the United States of America, John F. Kennedy.

“Let no one be discouraged by the belief that there’s nothing one man or one woman can do against the enormous arrays of the worlds ills-against misery, ignorance, injustice or violence…..few will have the greatness to bend history itself, but each of us can work to change a small portion of events and in the total of all those acts will be written the history of this generation.

It is from the numberless diverse acts of courage and belief that human history is shaped. Each time a man or woman stands up for an idea or acts to improve the lot of others…or strikes out against injustice, he or she sends a ripple of hope and build a current which can sweep down the mightiest walls…..”

‘”This foundation continues to be strong and has become a vital ministry in the “The Garden of the World” providing assistance to many in fields of education, medical alleviating poverty, supplying the homeless, and orphans with unsurpassed care, love and devotion.”

Bernadette Pabon

I did finish my presentation that day and sold a few books but definitely left with a greater awareness in world ministry in diverse areas. An essential group of unquestionable people who channel their energy into life creating extraordinary results.

good, that goes un-noticed, IF WE SEE MORE GOOD It will give all of our lives a spark to follow in their footsteps and definitely more hope for the world. God bless you and your fa.
