Sister Marie, Servant of the Holy Heart of Mary
I've met Sister Marie, when she was twelve and I was fourteen. We both were at the Aspirancy at Holy Family Academy, in Beaverville Ill. Where we were aspiring to become Sisters of the Servants of the Holy Heart of Mary.
Marie became my little sister when I became a senior. Never expecting to see her again after both going our way, we saw each other this past spring. What a blessed blessing to re-kindle our friendship and our memories of the past. How inspiring and meaningful those memories are?
Life was so simple and fun. As we shared, the memories became more vibrant bringing the joys of the past to the life of the present thus adding a reflection of child-like expectancy. The gift to remember is a great gift, when the memories are joyful and when the memories are not so joyful, we realize where we are now and how much life have changed us and yet our FAITH remained.
Sisters simplicities of life and her great faith, made me feel alive. Her devotion to God and great beliefs and understanding of her faith has widened my vision of life.

Goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
We are all born with the Goodness of God instilled within us. We must neither neglect it nor keep it hidden. God is the Goodness, within us. Our faith in God must shine through the goodness we manifest to others in our lives.
If we profess to be filled with the Spirit and yet we do not show goodness to others, we are living a lie. Nevertheless goodness is within you but at times it takes prayer and faith to share it with others.
Faith will assist us to see the goodness of God in others and to be aware and appreciate all the goodness that God has bestowed upon us. I can only speak for myself,
“How easily I forget the Goodness of God
and yet He has provided me with so many blessings,
I take it all for granted,
not realizing that without it,
I would not survive. I would soon exist as a dry twig.
When I felt unloved, He confirmed His love to me through His word and He held me in His arms and encircled me with His love.
When I was lonely and hopeless He reached out and comforted me.
When I was sad, He showered my life with joy.
When I had no strength to continue, He filled me with power and guided me with Goodness and Love.” Poem
Goodness is a fruit that is always in season. Winter spring, summer or fall Goodness brings heaven to earth. A fruit that if allowed to mature can without doubt enrich your life producing a multitude of other fruits, like understanding, happiness and love. Goodness makes a difference our world. Once seeds of Goodness are planted they will flourish transforming our world into a heavenly garden forever, never to wither.
Psalm 27: I am still confident of this:
I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
Do we see hear and touch His creation all given to us by His Goodness!

"The impossible dream"
To dream, the impossible dream
To fight, the unbeatable foe
To bear, the unbearable sorrow
To run, where the brave dare not go
To right, the unrightable wrong
To love, pure and chase from afar
To try when your arms are too weary
To reach the unreachable star,
This s my quest, to follow that star
no matter how hopeless,
no matter how far,
To fight, for the right
without question or pause
to be willing to march into hell
for a heavenly cause,
And I know if I'll only be true,
to this glorious quest,
That my heart will lie peaceful and calm,
when I am laid to my rest.,
and the world would be better for this,
That one man, scorned and covered with scars,
still strong with his last ounce of courage,
To reach the unreachable star!
by Joe Darion
This song says it all,
we must dream, impossible dreams, for this is how the world has survived, because of the dreams of many and the help of God.
by fighting we have accomplish our dreams, fighting for truth and justice and freedom for all.
by bearing each others sorrows, we have been united as one.
by running the race to the end, to win a place in the kingdom of God,
by righting what is wrong, to help the poor, homeless, orphans and those who cannot help themselves,
by loving all God's children,
by trying no matter how difficult, or weak because God is the strength within,
help until you cannot help any more.
Fight until you cannot fight anymore.
and always love til the end, with all your heart.

The power within you, A gift from God
This power that is a spiritual gift given to you by God is the gift of hope. Much can be said about hope. Much more has been written about hope but the greatest is that much has been accomplish through hope.
Hope has given life, to those who had nothing else but trust that there would be a chance of something better. Hope has given food to the hungry spirit causing them to hang in there thus bringing survival by them never giving up.
If fear has attacked you, call on hope to rescue you. The fears of the past will be conquered by the hope of the present and producing a better and hopeful future. Live for today with hope for the future. The future hope will become the past hopes the past hopes will enrich the present making all the tomorrows hopeful. Then you will not let your past destroy your future but enhance it.
Hope can change your life, do not stand still for hope lives on and on.Take it upon yourself that life can change if you choose to do it. When life seems hopeless, it becomes dark and void, unlock the power within you and go forth living in the light of hope.
Can you change who you are, yes you can! You have many elements that can help you. Some are faith, strength to do better, others, love, your power to survive, hope,
Give hope to others,
be hope,
spread hope for hope:
Hope sees the invisible,
feels the intangible,
achieves the impossible. Anonymous.

"You are the light of the world"
If only each one would light one candle.
Imagine how much brighter the world would be'.
Then maybe we would see things
more clearly.
